RE: I have a question--
|
I am wondering honestly why it is that once I hear from a good Christian man who I think would be the most wonderful person for me, he runs the other direction. I must be doing something awfully wrong or not trusting God enough. I honestly put God first in everything I attempt, but it either fails, or is not enough, or I just don't understand how to handle the situation. Any suggestions? I am tired of all rejections. Thanks, and God Bless all of you!

I know I'm not really focussed on this thread, but, just what is a "fiducia" kind of faith. I'm just curious? Never had heard that word before. LOL!
speciallady2010 - I'm finding that alot of men are just as timid as we are when we start out on these kind of web-sites, and when we are a bit forward as I have been on one of two occasions, then, I really think that they then realize that they are just not ready for a serious relationship, and I have found too, that I'm not ready for a serious relationship...especially after a death of a spouse or a divorce.
But then, on the other hand, there are some men out there who talk a big talk about being "spiritual" and then when you begin to talk about the "God things", then they run in the other direction because they are really not willing to talk about God and faith. They realize you are serious and he isn't.
But, I will have to commend a few men on this site...they're very direct and honest in what they say and feel about faith and God. Give it some time to shape into a friendship before you even plunge into a more serious relationship. I'm taking my own advice there...and I feel very comfortable with it...even after about 4 months.

Hi
|
|
Not sure what to say since it seems to be happening to me too. I tell the men before I start dating them exactly what I want and they say they want that too, but when it comes right down to it they run. Why? maybe they lied from the beginning or maybe they decided they weren't ready. What ever the reason you are better off without them. God will one day answer your prayers we don't know the reasons why or when but it will happen, he will send the one your heart desires. God probably has a big job finding that right and just man for you. Now days on both sides people are so selfish it's hard to find that person. It's a big world and just to work everything out to get people together and then he has to deal with will he can't make someone love you it has to happen they have to chose to love you.
